Training FLASH
FLASH offers courses and workshops for technical Specialization in the areas of:
- Water, Sanitation and Hygiene
- Management and Logistics organization
- Emergency Preparedness and Response
- Pharmacy Management, Vaccination Logistics, Cold chain Management and Health Care Waste Management
The design of the course is focused on practical learning (learning by doing). According to the philosophy "a picture is worth a thousand words", the courses require participants to look (twice and on both sides) but also to handle and practice with the materials.
- An introduction to each module helps the participants to understand the “Why” of the subject.
- The modules are implemented using a common language and a very participatory methodology.
- The presentations are enriched with practical examples and explanation from real life experience, documented with photos and illustrative charts.
- Overall modules contain case studies that aim to find consensus solutions in working groups and plenary presentations. The modules are also enriched through small exercises and calculation and basic physical experiments.
- Demonstrations and solutions to frequent problems and breakdowns as close as possible to real situations in emergencies.
